forgot what love was all about

On Saturday I saw Coach Lo while I was working. Then later on at practice Lisa and Coach White came! I still remember what he said to me two years ago. I wasn't sure he remembered me but later on he was singing my name, so I'll take that as a yes.

This is going to be the first year we've started season without Coach Lo. How weird. I guess it's not really noticeable because badminton is still badminton. I sure could use his support. But he's more relaxed now and healthier, so good for him.

I think I had a fantasy today. Or a day dream? Haha. It put me in a good mood. Valentine's Day has got me trippin. I've never really minded before. I guess I still don't, but I'm thinking more about it than I used to. Oh well. It can't be harmful if it makes me giddy, even if it's not reality. A girl can dream, right? I know dreams aren't reality, but you're so real, so real to me.

I'm excited to see Thoroughly Modern Millie. I'm excited for Winter Congress. No, not really. Kind of. Shoot. I'd better meet some serious hotties, to all those people who convinced me to go. >O Rawr. No, scratch that, I want to meet the guy of my frickin dreams. But we'll date other people, and eight years down the road we'll have epiphanies and realize that we secretly love each other and get married. Hopefully I'm willing to commit by then. Wait, no, I'm not getting married. Hmm. Well, let's cross that bridge when we come to it.

I need my Taltos books. I should remember to ask. Too bad we barely talk anymore. Never talk, actually. Used to talk. Summer was good, what happened? Ha no, I remember what happened. At least things are better here than there. Grey's is on Thursday. Calc test is on Thursday. Calc test first, and then Grey's part two. =O Zomg. Save Meredith! Sob. Whee, another three-day weekend. Life is awfully exhausting. Take me home. Wait, I'm home already. Give me soma. A gramme is better than a damn.

"I don't see why we can't play ball here."

"Glad to hear it. We only need one Davis signature, and I think you and I could settle this like gentlemen."

"Right. Gentlemen. It's just with everything going down with my dad, I'm sure you can appreciate that Dani's feeling a little emotional right now. Which is why I'm willing to overlook the potential insult to my father of you trying to pull a fast one on his kids. I mean, he just got out of the hospital. Nice timing, Mr. Hamilton."

"Junior, please don't misread the situation--"

"Oh, no, um... I read you loud and clear. So...let me lay this out for you. The terms of the transaction are as follows: Hamilton Properties will honor every dealpoint prenegotiated between you and my father as well as a 10% increase in his original stake, which will come out of your profit projections as a show of good faith. And if you don't like it, then...you can...bite me."

He flashes a charming smile and leaves. Sigh. I want an Asian cowboy.
