Nikita - Season 2 Ep 7

"What the hell were you thinking, drugging me like that?"

"I was trying to protect you."

"Well, you almost got yourself killed."

"Look, avenging Ryan was my mission--"

"No, there's no my anymore, there's only ours, as in we share the losses, we share the risks, and most of all, we share the decisions."

"I was thinking about you--"

"No, you made the decision for me! Do you ever stop to think how I would feel if I lost you? God, you have no idea how much you mean to me, Nikita. No idea. If you ever pull a stunt like that again... We're through."

He looks so unbelievably sad. =[ I have to say, I don't think even the audience realized how much Nikita means to Michael. I mean, yes, we know he loves her, but the style of the show doesn't tend to include on-screen displays of affection between the two, so their love isn't always glaring us in the face (which is something I like). That just made it all the more powerful when Michael blew up at her, and all the more believable when he dropped that line. Because it's true, Nikita never stops to think about how Michael would feel if she died.

I had to capture this moment because, man, the look on Shane West's face really got to me. Kudos for a scene well done. White men can frown. >:( Why is this show so good?!
