only in chicago
I'M IN CHICAGO. I don't actually know that song, but I'm sure I'd like it if I heard it. I needed some Chicago-related lyrics for the title, you see.
I'm wearing pink. I brought two dresses; one is teal and the other blue, but apparently everybody else is wearing pinkish stuff. So my cousin put me into a pink dress she had. It's not only pink; there's also flowers, sequins, and a bow. All my worst nightmares in the ultimate combination, score!
I absolutely refuse to hold any responsibility whatsoever for the way I am going to be dressed tomorrow.
Oh yeah, I also found out today that I'm the maid-of-honor. I hadn't intended on actually being a part of the ceremony. I learned two days ago that I supposed to do something, but I had thought it was carrying the bride's train. As it turns out, I'm doing much more than just that.
Verra save me.
It's really pink. I keep in mind that I love my cousin, and I'm doing this for her.
As for Chicago, the city might be windy, but it's also really warm. That's WARM, W-A-R-M. It rained a little today, and I gladly enjoyed it.
I really like the night here. I haven't been into the city and I'm probably not going any further than Chinatown, but the weather at night is pleasant because it's dark but humid, and night is the only time I like humidity, if it's outdoors.
My bruise on my arm, courtesy of dear Chi, is darkening and expanding as it heals. Naturally, it looks absolutely beautiful and complements my dress perfectly.
It now covers over half my upper arm.
