Finished Down With Love today. Jerry Yan never really struck a chord with me before, but I certainly like him now. He has the best facial expressions and a quick ability to switch them on and off. It's quite impressive.

Like every other Taiwanese drama, quite a few items were standard. For instance, people landing in the hospital on a regular basis; there is competition in love; someone gets hit by an automobile of some sort; someone is rich or someone is stupid, or both... but I must say, I was surprised at how early they threw in the kidnapping scene. Perhaps one alteration they had was that nobody stood in the pouring rain as they confessed their love.

Overall, it was cute. Didn't knock anything out of my favorites (Ying Ye 3+1, Prince Turns to Frog, My Queen, Black & White), but it was definitely worth watching.
