Girl With a Pearl Earring

I'm utterly captivated.

I can't quite put my finger on what it is about this book that has me so completely spellbound, but I finished it about four days ago and I have not been able to stop thinking about it. It's a decent read, but I'm reluctant to rank it as one of my favorites. Objectively, I would say that it is simple. And yet, it continually crosses my mind. It's inexplicable.
