Yesterday I went to go visit Wisdom. Cindy was supposed to come with me, but she didn't.

For whatever reason, I guess I had expected that going to visit would have some major impact on my summer. I don't know. It certainly did last summer, but then, that was four weeks versus one hour. I didn't recognize any volunteers from last year, except for the two twins that I never really spoke to. I waved at them and they looked at me like I was a freak. My guess is that they didn't recognize me. =P Someone called out David and then I saw him coloring, and I got excited because I remembered him and my entry about his grandfather and I whispered, "David!" and he looked up and looked at me funny, too. I decided to stay quiet after that.

I felt awkward because Jenny Ayi didn't really remember me at first, but she let me in anyway and I found my Claire. Then I surprised Bianca and mostly followed her around while she cleaned up and stuff. The schedule is switched around a bit. Bianca took me home, and when we were leaving I saw Cody. His backpack was wide open and that made me smile, because he was a mess last summer and he still is. I remember him getting a bloody nose one day when it was really hot, so I took him to the bathroom and cleaned him up.

I think some part of me is looking forward to Maze Day. Seeing people again. Getting schedules. People squealing. People screaming. People jumping up and down. "Hey, we're in the same first period!"

On the other hand, it means we're getting closer, and I don't want this to ever end.
