I probably shouldn't be feeling this way,
but I'm a tad disappointed.
It's unfair, because I'd probably have done the same thing were I in his position, but the fact that he made that decision makes me feel as though I'm only second best. It makes me feel like we're the side story in a TW drama, where the main actor/actress isn't us, but our friends. We're the convenient side plot that gets thrown together so that the viewers can say "aww," but they're not really concerned with us, because we're not a big deal, and it doesn't really matter what we do. Because we'll always put our friends first; they'll always be the stars, and we only pop up occasionally.
It makes me feel like it's not epic. I'm not saying I want epicness, but I do want to star in the story of my own life.
