drink from the top of a broken bottle

I'm better today. Not good, exactly, but better. I think I'm coming out of my slump, which I've been in ever since that one Friday a little over a week ago when I stumbled over his secret, or semi-secret, and I suppose I've been pretty down ever since. Which sucks too, cause it was such a good day until the night. You might as well. It makes no difference.

Today was better. I wore a skirt again for the ASB meeting. It was actually kind of comfortable. UCSB presentation during third. Dry Ramen for lunch. People scolded me. "Oh my God that's so unhealthy. At least with water it's diluted." But then they ate it, too. After school I helped run around the Eagle's Nest and found a ladder to take down my "jamestan" clothesline poster. My cord got cut. =[ I would have had Rahul tie the twine side up there if I'd known it couldn't be untied. Oh, well. Tiff and I decided not to take ScarfaceMufasa to the vet, after all, because, well, it makes more sense not to.

I feel cheerier because Jocelyn called me just now to say hi, and then I talked to her mom for a few minutes. Then she gave the phone back to Jocelyn to let her say bye and thank you and she sounded really sad as I said good night. But still, having her call brightened my day.
Holy crap, she's seven now.
