six, seven, eight
6. You could have both. I would give you the world, if you wanted it. All you have to do is ask.
7. They say love is blind, and that when you love someone, you think that they're perfect.
When I think of you, "perfect" is not the first word that comes to mind, though I confess that at one point of my life, for a long while, it was the only word I could use to describe you.
People tell me you don't want a relationship. I hope that one day, you'll find someone who will change your mind. It will not be me.
8. You are my best friend. You have been there for me through thick and thin. If it weren't for you, there is hell that I never would have gotten through. We haven't talked in a long while, but we're both aware that things change, and that's okay. So we drifted. We both changed. It's kind of cool, how every once in a while, one of us feels like calling the other, right when the other person was thinking of calling, too. You're irreplacable. I remember when we met in fifth grade. Then in sixth, we had our group. I still remember that day we got the Egypt assignment, and Ms. Keller let everyone go and organize into groups. And everyone got up and started running around, except for three kids, who stayed in their seats, one on the left, one by the center, and one a little over. Not even within talking distance; we were so scattered. Shouting would have worked, but none of us had to do it. We all just looked at each other, and we nodded, and that confirmed that we were a group. And that was it.
It was enough.
